Age 99, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was born December 8, 1922 in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of William and Elsie (Bray) Leedy.

On July 5, 1947, she married Algie Thomas in Pikeville, KY, and, following 62 loving years of marriage, he preceded her in death December 23, 2009. Cleo was a retail sales supervisor for JCPenney, retiring after 14 years. She loved cooking, gardening and crocheting but especially loved spending time with her family and friends. Cleo was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed.

Survivors include: one son, Danny (Swannee) Thomas of Somerset, KY; one daughter, Donna Westfall of Belleville; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, including one who was named after her; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals where the family will receive friends 11 am until time of service. Pastor Scott Caudill of First Free Will Baptist will officiate. Burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Belleville.
