On Wednesday November 27, Clayton L. Farmer passed peacefully after a brave battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family in his daughter's home. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

Clayton was born in Wheelwright, Kentucky on October 7, 1950, to Oss and Goldie (Little) Farmer. He was the sixth of nine children. He married his love Jeanetta Rose Little on October 30, 1972. Clayton and Jeanetta had two children: Tina Willams and Brian Farmer. Their families would grow to include three grandchildren, Cody Willams, Jenna Farmer and Kara Farmer. Clayton loved his family.

Clayton joined the Old Regular Baptist Church. He was a devoted member for many years. He served as deacon during his membership. He loved his church family forming many meaningful relationships with other members during his membership.

Clayton is preceded in death by his loving wife Jeanetta, parents, brothers Randy Lee Farmer, Eugene Estep and Jimmy Farmer. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, sisters Geraldine McCrakin and Ilene Fitch; and brothers Robert Hubert Farmer, Oss Farmer Jr., and Raymond Farmer.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Ypsilanti Old Regular Baptist Church with visitation beginning at 11 am (5668 Denton Road, Canton). Brother Danny Adams will officiate. Clayton will be laid to rest in Denton Cemetery, Van Buren Township.
