Charles Cooper Sr. passed away comfortably in his home on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the age of 100.

Charles was a God-fearing man and a devoted member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a noble WWII veteran. To his community, family and friends, he was an upstanding, honorable servant.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, May 25, 2024 at New Hope Baptist Church (218 Chapin Street, Ann Arbor). The family will receive friends 4-7 pm Friday, May 24, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Charles will be laid to rest in United Memorial Gardens, Plymouth.
