Ferrell Jr., Charles "Chuck" Edward

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 43, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at his home Monday, January 27, 2025. He was born January 7, 1982 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Charles and Terri (Stephenson) Ferrell Sr.

Chuck was a fun-loving guy. He was always up for a new adventure. He enjoyed music, video games, watching movies, going on vacation, and meeting new people. With his kind heart and charismatic personality, he often turned strangers into friends. On Friday nights, you could find Chuck listening to bands and dancing at his favorite club. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his mom. They were known to be inseparable. The pair spent their days talking, laughing, and going on their daily walk before moving on to whatever activity Chuck had planned for the day. When he was not out on the town, he liked to watch the news and talk politics with his dad. Chuck was a devoted brother and uncle. He loved his sisters, nieces and nephews.  He made sure to include them on his trips to the movies, museums, and arcades. Chuck will always be remembered for his smile, sense of humor, and carefree spirit.

Chuck is survived by his parents Charles and Terri Ferrell; sisters Jessica (Joe) Ferrell Wegrzyn and Alisha (Jon) Ripple; nieces Lily and Breelynn; and nephews Cole, Evan, Owen and Ian.

Visitation will be held 3-8 pm Friday, January 31, 2025; 3-8 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025; and 1-4 pm Sunday, February 2, 2025. The funeral service will be 4 pm Sunday, February 2, 2025. Pastor John White will officiate. Visitations and the funeral will take place at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).
