Meadows, Cecil Aubrey Jr.

Columbus, GA (Formerly of Dearborn, MI)

Age 93, went home to be with the Lord Friday, June 30, 2023 in Columbus, GA. He was born March 23, 1930 in DeKalb, IL, the son of Cecil and Mary (Love) Meadows.

Cecil retired in 2002 after a lengthy career in insurance and financial planning sales. He served one year in the Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He attended Warrendale Community Church in Dearborn for many years.

Cecil is survived by his son Mark (Kim) Meadows, daughter Marilyn (Mark) McGraw, grandson Troy Meadows, granddaughter Lauren (Jack) Haney, brother-in-law David (Diana) Wilson, sister-in-law Mary Lou Moore, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Esther (Wilson) Meadows.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, July 7, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington St. Ypsilanti, MI). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am until time of service. Cecil will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
