Age 10, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Commerce Township, MI. He was born March 23, 2012 in Superior Township, MI, the son of Ronald Goins and Carly Burgess.

Carson enjoyed playing basketball, riding dirt bikes, being outside with his friends and bike riding. He loved swimming, going to the beach and playing video games. He was a student at County Oaks Elementary School and was great at math. Carson loved his two brothers and sister dearly.

Carson is survived by his mother Carly Burgess (Cameron Nichols), siblings Landon Dunn (age 15), Haven Dunn (14) and Gunnar Nichols (17 months); maternal grandparents Steven (Christina) Burgess and Karin (Stephen) Wiles; paternal grandparents Kelly Dunn and Tricia Goins; aunts Rylee Burgess (Arthur Huerta), Sarah Burgess, Paityn Burgess, Paris Burgess, Cassandra Fulks, Sidney Burke, Alex Wiles and Erin Wiles; uncles Spencer Burgess, Andrew (Brandy) Halliday, Gerald Burke, John Wiles and Preston Dixon; four great-grandparents, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Ronald Goins, great-grandmother Mary Stephens, great-grandfathers Ralph Hoskins, Alex Ferman and Ronald Goins; and great-uncles Steven Hoskins and Richard Crawford.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Bethesda Bible Church (1800 Huron Street, Ypsilanti) with visitation beginning at 10 am. Pastor Leon Johnson will officiate. The family will receive friends 4-9 pm Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). Carson will be laid to rest at London Township Cemetery in London Township, MI.
