Carol Wade Dohn, age 90, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 1, 2025, at her home in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She was born on July 13, 1935, in Detroit, the daughter of Raymond and Mary Helen Holland.

A long-time resident of Ypsilanti, Carol lived a life filled with creativity, curiosity, and quiet joy. She especially loved painting landscapes on canvas and spent many happy days camping, searching for unique rocks, painting them, and gifting them to family and friends. Always eager to learn, Carol remained active and engaged with the world well into her later years.

Carol is survived by her children, David Dohn, Lydia (Robert) Duckworth, and Eric (Teressa) Dohn; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply. She was preceded in death by her son, Daryl Dohn.

Visitation will be held 2-4 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). In accordance with her wishes, a formal funeral service will not be held.
