Age 12, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 25, 2024 at his home. He was born December 28, 2011 in Ann Arbor, MI, the son of Donita Robinson and Bryant Murphy.

Brylan attended Lincoln Middle School in Ypsilanti. He was well-known for his basketball and football skills and loved playing for the Ypsilanti Braves. He enjoyed playing sports and making family and friends laugh.  He possessed great b-ball skills.

Brylan is survived by his mother Donita Robinson, father Bryant Murphy, brothers Bryant Murphy Jr., King Bryant Murphy and Kayden Murphy; and sisters Yasmine Murphy, Lisa Murphy and Brooklyn Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lisa Murphy and grandfather Charles Jones.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, September 6, 2024 at New Testament Baptist Church (1230 W. Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti) with Pastor Anthony Shaw officiating. Family hour will begin at 10 am. Brylan will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
