Brenda Sue Steele, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at her home in Saline, MI. The eighth of ten children, she was born November 14, 1948, in Ypsilanti, MI, to William and Doris (Armstrong) Steele.

Brenda graduated from Willow Run High School and made her career as a housekeeper with Saline EVH, retiring in 2015. She spent her early years in Ypsilanti and made Saline her home for the past 55 years, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and simple joys.

Brenda loved reading, word games, playing cards, watching movies, and tending to her flowers. She especially treasured time spent with her family—her son and granddaughter were her greatest joy. Thoughtful, kind, and nurturing, Brenda was a mother figure to many and a loyal friend to all who knew her. She also had a fondness for angels, a reflection of the gentle, caring spirit she shared throughout her life.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends 12 pm until the time of service.
