🌹 In Loving Memory of Brandy Kay Stewart

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Brandy Kay Stewart, a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving sister, and treasured granddaughter, who entered into eternal rest on September 28, 2025, at the age of 50.

Brandy was born on November 12, 1974, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Burley Edward McGlone and Terry Lou Patterson, who preceded her in death. From her earliest years, Brandy was known for her warm smile, her boundless compassion, and her natural ability to bring comfort and laughter to those around her.

A woman of strength, grace, and determination, Brandy was an avid student who went on to earn her Master of Business Administration. She was working professionally as the Human Resource Director at Harbor Oaks Psychiatric Hospital at the time of her passing. Her career was a testament to her knowledge, perseverance, and leadership, but what made her truly remarkable was her choice to postpone her career until she had fulfilled her most important calling — rearing and homeschooling her two beloved children, Charles Nathan Stewart and Jordan Bryan Stewart.

Brandy was the beloved wife of Charles Bryan Stewart, with whom she shared 27 years of unwavering devotion and love. Their marriage was rooted in faith, commitment, and friendship, serving as a lasting example of true partnership.

Faith was at the center of Brandy's life. Having been Saved and Sanctified by her Lord Jesus Christ in the Apostolic Pentecostal Faith, she found joy in serving Him through teaching Sunday school, singing gospel, and living as a witness of His love.

Outside of her career and ministry, Brandy embraced life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, caring for house plants, and even playing Minecraft with her family. She loved the ocean and treasured her time at the beach, where she found peace and joy. Brandy also had a tender heart for animals and was preceded in death by several beloved pets — Sergio, Jax, and Minnie — who brought her endless companionship and comfort.

She was a caring sister to Mikki Faye and Cody Edward McGlone, and a cherished granddaughter to Mildred McGlone and Cotilda Faye Allen. "Her roles as wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece were the foundation of her life's purpose, and she fulfilled each with devotion and tenderness."

Brandy's legacy is one of love, selflessness, faith, and joy. She will be remembered for her laughter, her unwavering devotion to her family and God, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her. Though her time with us feels far too short, her influence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Brandy's life at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 South Washington Street Ypsilanti).

Visitation will be held Monday October 6, 2025,  2-8 pm at Stark Funeral Professionals, 101 S. Washington St. Ypsilanti. The funeral service is Tuesday, October 7, 2025,  beginning at 11 am with visitation beginning at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Alban Cemetery (25492 Bemis Road, Ypsilanti).

Together, we will remember her joy, honor her love, and carry her spirit forward.
