Age 91, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. She was born December 1, 1930 in Clarksville, Arkansas, the daughter of Osmore and Minnie (Lewis) Beavers.

On April 26, 1949, she married John Parker and the two of them shared in 71 loving years of marriage before he preceded her in death on November 15, 2020.

Bonnie was a homemaker for many years. An avid reader, angel figurine collector and enjoyed gardening. She also loved all her fur babies.

She is survived by her three sons: Steve, William, and Larry, all of Ypsilanti; thirteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by two daughters: Donna Sandlin and Shelia Walczak and three brothers: Orville, Darrel and Osmore Jr.

A funeral service for Bonnie will be held 2 pm Monday, January 24, at Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti. There will be visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 pm. Burial at Highland cemetery will directly follow the service.
