Beverly Mae Pyle (Hoekstra)

April 5, 1937 – June 3, 2023

Daughter, sister, wife, mother, Grandma and Great-Grandmother, a woman who loved well and was well-loved; Beverly Mae Pyle departed this life Saturday, June 3, 2023 with her loved ones by her side at 86 Years Young. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas William Pyle and her son Robert William Pyle.

Beverly was a 1955 graduate of Belleville High School. She married Thomas William Pyle May 11, 1957.  Beverly was an Administrative Assistant for University of Michigan's, Department of Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics for many years before retiring in 1998. Beverly thoroughly enjoyed gardening, yard sales, and spending time at her cottage in Bitely, MI.

Beverly will be forever missed by all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with her husband Tom, son Robert and parents Gertrude and Fred. She is survived by daughter Bonnie Kowalski, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held this Friday, June 9, 2023 at the Ypsilanti Masonic Temple from 5-9 pm (5752 Whittaker Road, Ypsilanti Charter Twp, MI 48197).
