Marion, Beverly Amelia

Westland, MI

Age 87, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born August 31, 1935 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Alfred and Amelia (Billadeau) Maskill.

In December of 1954 she married Fredrick S. Marion at the Royal Oak Shrine of the Little Flowers. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2016. Beverly helped run the family business, Delux Rentals, in Ypsilanti, MI. Beverly was a long-time member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti. She enjoyed birds, flowers, and gardening. She would migrate to Florida for the winter months. Beverly loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her sister Donna Irwin, brother Charles Maskill, son Fredrick D. Marion, daughter Lori Markunas, granddaughters Chelsea Markunas and Lynn Marion.

In addition to her husband of 62 years, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sons Brian and Mark Marion.

A funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Stark Funeral Professionals. Art Boucher will officiate the service. Beverly will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti. The family will be hosting a reception after the funeral, more details will be announced at the service.
