Beverley June Tomaszewski passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded with love, on Friday, September 8, 2023 at the age of 88.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph and her two children, Pete Lazar and Teresa Wegrzyn.

She leaves behind her three grandchildren, Bryan (Kim) Wegrzyn, Joseph (Jessica) Wegrzyn and Jennifer (Rick) Ridenour. She was a very proud and loving great-grandmother to Ryan (Tabitha) Tyler (Ashley), Jaysa (Michael), Jayden, Izabelle, Katherine, Cole, Lily, Evan, Owen and Ian. A doting great-great-grandmother of Mason, Grayson, Payton, Parker and Anderson. Even with her large family, Beverley had more than enough love to give her honorary grandchildren Jennifer Renick and Veronica Miller.

There was nothing more important to Beverley than her grandchildren; she called them her treasures. She would do anything and everything for them. The grandchildren felt the same of her and wanted to be at grandma's house as much as possible. Not only did grandma make sure her grandchildren were well loved, she kept them involved in any activity they were interested in. She never missed a game, recital, or competition. Grandma was always there to cheer them on.

Beverley was a very talented woman in many different areas. Writing is one of the many things she did, and did well. She wrote beautiful poetry and songs that she loved to sing. Beverley was also a master crafter and especially enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, and jewelry making. Grandma and Grandpa would sell their crafts at craft shows throughout Wayne and Washtenaw Counties.

Beverley and Joseph enjoyed gardening together. Their entire home was surrounded by beds of flowers and vegetables. Beverley and Joseph's love of gardening and their green thumb earned them multiple awards in their community.

While Grandma Bev, as her grandchildren would call her, is not physically with us anymore, her memories will live on in the many lives she touched.
