Age 90, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022. She was born May 27, 1932 in Riga Township, MI, the daughter of Olin and Alice (Gentz) Betz.

Betty enjoyed reading and adored her dog JJ.

She is survived by her daughters Carole Cole and Cindy (Paul) Adkins; son-in-law Ralph Bowling, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sister Stella Gotts, and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Coleman Ary, children Ronnie Switzer, Peggy Bowling and Donna Farr; grandson Tyler Switzer, son-in-law Tyrone Cole, and two brothers.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals. The family will receive friends 4-9 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at the funeral home. Betty will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti.
