Farley, Barbara Sue

Ypsilanti, MI

Age 82, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at home. She was born August 8, 1941 in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of Herbert and Zetta (Morris) Anderson.

Barbara enjoyed watching old westerns, playing bingo and bird watching. She loved to socialize, gathering with friends and family regularly. A dog lover at heart, Barbara was an avid supporter of the American Humane Society. She also donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ypsilanti.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Elisa Schwall, sons Curt (Christine) Schwall and Mark (Mary) Schwall; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with one on the way, sisters Fern and Flo; brother Layton, and the father of her children, Frederick Schwall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Gregory Schwall, grandson Gregory Schwall, and husbands William Riley and Arthur Farley.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals with visitation beginning at 11 am. Pastor Gordon Moore will officiate.
