Bohanner, Arlean D.

Age 62, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Trinity Health Hospital – Ann Arbor. She was born August 18, 1962 in Memphis, TN, the daughter of Tommie Bohanner and Bertha Birdsong.

Arlean had a beautiful spirit and a heart full of love. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—watching movies, listening to music, and creating delicious meals for those she loved. With a natural green thumb, she nurtured her garden as tenderly as she did the people around her, demonstrated by a career in the medical field retiring as a nurse. A woman of faith, she was deeply devoted to her church, where she served with joy—singing in the choir and warmly welcoming others as an usher.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, cherished by her sons, Aaron Bohanner and Cordarius (Dalia) Bohanner; as well as her sisters, Marie Rausch, Carolyn "La Toya" Cotton and Jo A Wright. She is now reunited in peace with her beloved siblings, Brenda Snipes and Tommie Lee Bohanner Jr., who preceded her in passing. Arlean's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be forever missed but never forgotten.
