Age 77, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital with her family by her side. She was born January 9, 1945 in Salyersville, KY, the daughter of James and Irene (Arnett) Salyer.

Annette was an adventurous spirit who loved traveling and being by the water. She treasured time spent with family, especially her grandchildren, and was well-known for her love of animals. She was extremely passionate about helping others and cherished her time spent working at the VA Hospital.

Annette is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Shane Husack), Kelli and Shelli Van Buren; grandchildren Heather, Katie and Kayla; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, October 7, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am until time of service. Annette will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti.
