Angela Ellen Walenski, 72, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 14, 2023 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Angie was born November 8, 1950 to Harold and Mary Knapp in Medford, Wisconsin. Shortly after graduating from Willow Run High School in 1968, she migrated to Cullman, Alabama where she lived until returning to Ypsilanti Michigan in 1998 to take care of her mother.

Angie was an avid animal lover, particularly her dogs. She never had children of her own so, they were her babies, especially her beloved Caspian. She also loved her nieces and nephews and never missed an opportunity to tell people how proud she was of them.

She is survived by her brother Harold Knapp of Ypsilanti, MI, her niece Sheila Hoeft (Knapp) of Dexter, MI, nephew Sean Knapp of Saline, MI, niece Patricia Knapp of Pinckney, MI, nephew Matthew Knapp of Adrian, MI and nine great nieces and nephews.

Angie was a known jokester and will be fondly remembered for her witty personality and devotion to her family.  A memorial will be set at a later date.
