Alice Faye (Trout) Marcum of Ypsilanti passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Gilbert Residence surrounded by her family. She was born November 25, 1937, in Stone, Kentucky the daughter of Hayes and Lizzie (Sullivan) Trout. Alice enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Her survivors include: two granddaughters Jacquese (Marc) Miloser of Tecumseh and Jaimee (Hugo) Cardenas of Lathrup Village; three great-grandchildren Elliana Miloser, Adeynne Miloser, and Arabella Miloser; one brother Fonzo Trout; two sisters Mickey McGlone and Etta Carter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James (Rick), two sons Jim and Ricci; three sisters, Kathleen, Bertha, and Joan; and three brothers, Bud, Franklin, and Lonzo.

The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti). A funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Ypsilanti Old Regular Baptist Church (5668 Denton Road, Canton) with viewing beginning at 10 am. Brother Charles Blevins will officiate. Alice will be laid to rest in Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti.
