Albert "Dennis" Stringham, age 69, born August 24, 1954, in Hammond, Indiana to John and Joanne (Coveleski) Stringham, passed away on December 27, 2023, to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He passed away peacefully in his home with his closest family by his side. Dennis served in the US Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Guam during the Vietnam War. He worked for Zantop Airlines at Willow Run Airport for many years and worked for Iron Mountain Health Services as a courier until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, camping, as well as fishing but loved spending quality time with his family most of all. Dennis is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy Stringham, children, Dennis "Shane", Joseph, Timothy, and Matthew Stringham; grandchildren, T.J., Tyson, Lila, Madisen, Alison, Ry'Anne, Anthony, Cassandra, Kelsey, Destiny and, Marilyn; great-grandchild, Sunshine, and sister MaryJo Woffard (Oklahoma). He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings John, Michael, Steven, Barbara, Sharon and Elizabeth. All who know Dennis are invited to his viewing, which will be held at Stark Funeral Professionals, 101 S. Washington St., Ypsilanti MI, 48198 at 1 pm on January 10, 2024. The ceremony will be officiated by Pastor Andrew Saonnatag of Metro Baptist Church, and he will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery. Dennis' family also invites all who attend to join them for Dennis' Celebration of Life after to eat, laugh and reminisce.
