Age 97, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at his home in Ypsilanti, MI. He was born October 22, 1924 in Ocala, FL, the son of Albert Sr. and Vernell (Wimberley) Chisolm.

Albert loved to work outside in his garden. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He liked to work on automobiles and was very handy around the house. Albert was an active member of the Second Baptist Church in Ann Arbor, once serving as chairman of their board. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and volunteered as a Scoutmaster for over 20 years. Often referred to as, "the best person I've ever met," Albert was a loving father to his family and of many others.

Albert is survived by his children Albert (Darlene) Chisolm III, Melvin (Loralye) Chisolm and Diane (George) White, brothers Walter (Joyce) Chisholm, Van (Peggy) Chisholm, Ozell (Arlena) Chisholm and Marvin Chisholm; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vivian (Hill) Chisolm, son Terry Chisolm, and siblings Ezekial Chisholm, J.C. Chisholm, Louise Thomas, Cathelia "Kate" Williams, Inez Williams, Ida Mae Wiley and Marie Parnell.

A funeral service will be held 12 pm Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Second Baptist Church (301 S. Hamilton Street, Ypsilanti) with the family hour beginning at 11 am. The family will receive friends 4-8 pm Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals in Ypsilanti. Burial to take place at United Memorial Gardens in Superior Township, MI.
