Age 94, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 6, 2023 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Chelsea, MI. He was born August 27, 1928 in Prestonsburg, KY, the son of Elmer and Ammie (Hinton) Music.

A.G. was a lifelong member and usher at First Free Will Baptist Church of Ypsilanti. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved cooking for friends, family and the church. He loved sharing stories about hunting, fishing, family and growing up in Kentucky. He had a long and successful career as a tool and die setter at the Rawsonville Ford Motor Company plant. Above all, A.G. treasured time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He married Lorine Couch July 1, 1955 in Wayne, MI and she survives.

In addition to his loving wife of 67 years, A.G. is survived by his children David (Kim) Music, Zola Sue (Darryl) Clark, Debbie (Bill) Fister and Amy (Kirk Owen) Music; sister Roberta Knipp, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday, February 11, 2023 at First Free Will Baptist Church (1244 Holmes Road, Ypsilanti). The family will receive friends 10 am until time of service. Brother Walker Harris will officiate. A.G. will be laid to rest at Union-Udell Cemetery in Ypsilanti Township, Michigan. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial.
