Aaron "Brent" Weir, 46 was born on January 4, 1976, in Grenada, Mississippi to the late Jerry Weir and Gwendolyn Cain Weir. On October 13, 2022, Aaron heard and answered the master's call. Aaron accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age and joined First New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Perry L. Montgomery where he served faithfully as a choir member. His mother jokingly states "I did good to even get him in the church."

After relocating to the State of Michigan, he began working at Mervyn's Department Store in loss prevention. This is where he found the love of his life, Crystal Denise. They joined in marriage on November 7, 1998. At his passing they were married a total of 23 years. After marriage he joined Ekklesia Fellowship Ministries in Ypsilanti, Michigan, under the leadership of Pastor Victoria James where he served as the Coordinator of Maintenance, member of the Ministry Aides, sang in the Men's Choir and even drove the church van. He was very skilled with his hands, often helping others without expecting anything in return.

Aaron attended and graduated from Belleville High School in Belleville, Michigan. After high school he joined the workforce. During his career, Aaron was an auto mechanic at Suburban Honda, downtown Ypsilanti, Michigan. At his passing he was a maintenance supervisor with Oak Park High School in Oak Park, Michigan. Throughout his career Aaron most enjoyed working with his hands. He would often say he was a "blue collar" man. You could catch him down at Art's Automotive tinkering with vehicles just for fun.

Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Weir, brother, Toddrick Maurice Weir, grandparents Frank (Norma Jean) Crowder and Ira (Blanch) Weir. Mother-in-law, Brenda Joyce Rowell. Aaron is survived by his devoted wife, Crystal Denise Weir, daughter, whom he affectionately called "Lady Bug," Brianna Renae Weir. His loving mother, Gwendolyn Cain, brother, Marquis Terrell (Janice) Weir of Memphis, Tennessee, father-in-law, Terry James Rowell, sister-in-law, Terri Lynn Whitt, three nieces; Ashley Nicole Steed-Weir of Barlett, Tennessee, Amber Janae' Weir of Memphis, Tennessee and Chandra Lafawn Weir of Humbolt, Tennessee; one nephew, Toddrick James Weir of Ypsilanti, Michigan, God daughter Kamari Gregory of Ypsilanti, Michigan, God brother Keith Smith of Stocksbridge, Georgia. Special friends, Enoch Bullock, Johnny Epps, Larod Tooson, Tanard Tooson, Lee James, Kwam Ledger, Carter Vaughn, Quincy Lawson, Larry Patton, Deon Naylor, Daniel Evans and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).
