Mary Theresa Halliday (Levack), 76, of Rutledge, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 22nd, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and those who cherished her the most.

Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to John and Sara (Ada) Levack, Mary later graduated from Willow Run High School and retired as a guard at the Huron Valley Women’s Facility.

A devout Catholic, Mary was a long-time parishioner of Saint John Paul II Catholic Church. Her deep faith and service to others are just two out of many things that made Mary so special. We find comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her beloved Lord and Savior, welcomed into His eternal embrace.

Mary gave so much of herself to her family, helping raise many of her grandchildren and loving them as her own. She was someone you could always count on. A steady, loving presence who made sure that the people she loved were cared for no matter what the circumstance. A true Christian woman, she lived her faith through the way she loved, gave, forgave, and showed up for everyone throughout her life. Her love, strength, and selflessness have changed those who knew her forever. She will be deeply missed by so many.

Mary is survived by her five sisters; her son John (Tommy); her six grandchildren; Andrew, Corinne, Dri, Tommi Alyssa, Kaitlyn, and Keely; her great grand babies; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur babies, Duke and Roxie.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her sister, Patricia; her daughter, Dawn; her nephew Jeremy; her daughter-in-law, Kimberly; and her doggies who were waiting for her at the rainbow bridge.

Her viewing will be held at Stark Funeral Professionals on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Services will also be held at the same location on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., with burial to follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
