Lois Ray, of Ypsilanti, passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 47.

Lois was passionate about Jesus. She worshipped regularly with New Life Church in Ann Arbor and was present within New Life's community rhythms as often as her health would allow. She loved getting to church early and to bring her nephew, Demetrius, as often as she could. She developed many friendships in that community and blessed everyone with her sweet, encouraging demeanor and her desire to glorify God despite all the health challenges she faced. She will truly be missed by her family, friends and church community.

Lois is survived by her loving mother, Joann Ray and stepfather William Bell.

Dear sister Felecia Wright and brother Ronald Wayne-Ray.

She also leaves behind four nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, August 7, 2026, at Stark Funeral Professionals with family hour beginning at 10 am.
