Jaysen J. Wessling, age 48, of Ypsilanti, made his transition at home on August 31, 2026. He was born September 21, 1977, in Ann Arbor, the son of Jesse Lee Williams and Jane Lee (Wessling) Williams. Jaysen was united in marriage to Crystal Collins in Lucas County, Ohio, on February 27, 2003.

Jaysen worked for 28 years as a Hi-Lo driver with Detroit Thermal Systems. He was a proud Detroit Lions football fan and enjoyed gambling, listening to music, playing video games, and spending time with the people he loved. He was also known to enjoy weed and a good meal.

He is survived by his two sons, TreShaun Wessling and James Miller; siblings, Jami Abdullah, Jerred Williams, Maurice Jefferson, Keysha Jefferson, Shermane Woods, and Jimmy Pham; his ex-wife and best friend, Crystal Collins; his best friends, Clifford King and Alfred Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Bane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee Williams and Jane Lee Williams.

The family has chosen simple cremation. Jaysen will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
