Edwin John Burilovich, age 79, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, in Ypsilanti. He was born February 8, 1947, in Barberton, Ohio, son of Louis and Verna Burilovich. On December 26, 1973, he married Linda Skantz in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and he was her beloved husband for 53 years.

Edwin was a graduate of Mount Vernon Academy in 1965 and also studied at Akron University. He developed the company known as Michigan Health Foods Inc. that served Michigan, Ohio and Indiana as a distributor of health foods for 30 years. Edwin loved baseball. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan throughout his entire life. He was devoted to his family and had a strong faith.

He is survived by the family that he adored, his wife Linda; his three sons, Nicklas Burilovich of North Carolina, Andrew Burilovich of Ypsilanti, and Bradley Burilovich of Ypsilanti; his daughter-in-law, Stephanie Burilovich of North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Paige, Rhett, and Faith. He is also survived by his sisters, Renee Lee of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Diana Burilovich of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Edwin's family will sorely miss him but are blessed with his legacy of love and happiness.

Visitation will take place 12-2 pm on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Stark Funeral Professionals.
