Age 82, passed away Friday, April 23, 2023 in Lake Worth, Florida. He was born January 5, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio.

In January of 1968 he married Linda Collins and she preceded him in death October 14, 2009. Dennis served in the US Air Force from 1962 – 1965 where he was an Air Policeman and went on to retire from the Ann Arbor City Fire Department and Ann Arbor Transportation Authority.

Dennis enjoyed his farm in the early years as well as a glass blowing business with Linda, in their home studio for many years. He created an ornament for the First Tree at the White House in 1993.

Dennis is survived by several other family members. Special thank you to his niece Sherie, great-nephew Adam, Peter and great-niece Catherine; and great-great-nephew Jake in Lake Worth, Florida, for many years of winter warmth where Dennis loved to spend the winter. A special thank you to Andy Ladd of Milan for taking care of Dennis in the summers since 2012.

Dennis loved to take long walks down the street where he and Linda lived for many years. He would comfortably stop and rest at the mailboxes of many old and new friends. Everyone looked out and loved him. Walking back up the driveway he would often reminisce of his happy days with Molly his beloved Shih-tzu laid to rest in the front yard.

Per his wishes he will be laid to rest with Linda after a private service.
