David B. Stout, age 60, of Ypsilanti and formerly of Ann Arbor, stepped into Heaven on September 8, 2026, at Angela Hospice in Livonia. He was born on May 28, 1966, in Livonia, the son of Robert and Jennifer (Sarah) Stout.

David met his loving wife, Connie, while selling cars at Naylor dealership in Ann Arbor in 1996. They married on May 5, 2000. He graduated from Concorida University Ann Arbor in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in business and began a successful career in computer software sales. His faith in Jesus Christ anchored him after he married Connie and continued to give him strength throughout his life.

He was a man who enjoyed staying busy and taking pride in the things he created and cared for. He enjoyed RVing, with Ludington holding a special place in his heart as a favorite destination. David also enjoyed mowing the lawn, woodmaking, and remodeling his home. Over the last several years his woodmaking talents included making crafts with his wife and attending craft shows with her.

Above all, David cherished time spent with his family. He loved being with his children and grandchildren, treasured traveling with them, and adored making memories with his family. His love for his family and the special moments they shared will forever be remembered.

David is survived by his beloved wife of 26 wonderful years, Connie (Bellers) Stout; his children, Michael (Stephanie) Cooley, Tisha (Chris) Essex, and Zach Stout; mother, Jennifer Sarah (Joe O’Donnell); sister, Lisa (Walter) Langlois; step-brother Justin (Lacey) Bradley; son-in-law, Jay Frederick; and his cherished grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaylynn, Jacob, McKenzie, Logan, Oliver, and Penelope. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Michelle Frederick; his father, Robert Stout; and his brother, Brian Stout.

Visitation will be held 3-7 PM on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Stark Funeral Professionals (101 S. Washington St., Ypsilanti).A funeral service will be held on Monday September 14, 2026, with Pastor Charles Kincaid officiating, at Connection Church in Canton (3855 Sheldon Rd., Canton) with visitation at 11 AM, service at 12 PM, and lunch following.

Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti at a later date.

David will be deeply missed by all who know and loved him, but the memories he created, the love he shared, and the legacy he leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
