On Sunday, April 23, 2023, Billy Ray Adams passed away unexpectedly of heart failure. He was a longtime resident of Ypsilanti Township. He was born June 15, 1949 in Ypsilanti, Michigan, the son of Carl and Mildred Adams. Bill graduated from Belleville High School. He served his country in Germany in the Army as SP4. Being mechanically blessed, he worked for General Motors until retirement.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Adams.

He will be missed greatly by his brother John Adams who was his caregiver for many years. Also left to mourn his passing are many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill welcomed everyone with a beautiful smile. His kindness was one of the first things people would always say about him. We are very appreciative of all the caregivers at Vibrant Life community for their concern and care of Bill.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 am Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Union-Udell Cemetery in Ypsilanti Township ( 9742 Textile Road). The family will receive friends at Stark Funeral Professionals 9-10 am that morning (101 S. Washington Street, Ypsilanti).
