Andrew Damron, 39, passed away on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. He was born on February 11th, 1987 in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Mother, Tracy Thelen. He was a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. Andrew graduated from Lincoln High School, class of ‘05. He was known for his outgoing, caring, and funny personality. Andrew was an outdoorsman who loved to fish, hunt, and go for long walks through local trails to spot the local deer.

Andrew is preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel Damron. He is survived by Mother and Father, Tracy and Lonnie Thelen, Brother and Sister Brandin and Kylie (Chase) Thelen, Grandparents, Hilda Damron, Jeannette and Joe Thelen. As well as all his friends and family that loved him so deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 14th, 2026 at Gladwin Church of Christ, 12-4 PM. All who were blessed to know Andrew, please come join the family as we share stories together of the happiness and joy Andrew brought to the world. To know Drew, was to know pure happiness and love.

The family asks in place of flowers, to provide donations to New Dawn Shelter of Gladwin County, as Andrew yearly walked a 5K in support of their efforts. It’s also asked of everyone to bring a printed picture of yourself and Andrew (or your favorite picture of Andrew) to be pinned on to a remembrance board. There will also be a shadow box for those without a picture to bring a fishing lure to place inside to honor Drew’s favorite activity of Fishing.
